Glove = Ferarri California

You would probably wonder what the title meant.. Those who came across the news will know what i mean..

Was stated in the Sun today, a hongkie businessman bought a glove wore by King of Pop the 1st time he performed Moon Walk back in 1989.. Guess the price? Well, the price somehow sore more than 20times its estimates, a staggering US$ 350k (1.2million bucks in m'sia) and that was the price before commissions and tax charges.. heard it from Fly.fm that the net price of the glove was RM1.7million =.= big time spender la, that fella, maybe it was considered a retail therapy to him? o.0

Just to compare, i'll take the Ferrari California since i was always a supercar fanatic.. for the same price tag, you'll get 454 horses working for you at 7600rpm, a 4.3L V8 engine and a whole lot of attention from peoples.. sounds like a better offer right?

Or for the same amount of money, you can buy a considerably big house, a family car.. why spend all those money on a glove (not a pair, its 1 side of it since MJ wears only 1 sided gloves).. one thing's for sure, the value of the glove doesn't depreciate much, maybe it isn't worth that kinda money too >.< but the Ferrari California will definitely depreciate half its price in half a year.. lol...

Exhausted Much!!

I'm so done with Pg bridge run, i cant run, but i ran half way through o.0 surprisingly long distance for me (you have to consider the fact that i'm not a runner la).. now i can barely stand.. and all i wanted to do was to sleep until the cows come home.. oya, btw, i'm so craving for food now.. after all those running, and sweating and walking.. =.= wanted to go grab a plate in mamak and ask for "tambah nasi... x10"

so, now, Pg bridge run is over, and Starwalk is next.. have no idea why i joined all these marathons/walkathons knowing that i can't run.. but it was good time spent with parents, minus the part when we were waiting for each other =.= we were supposed to wait for each other in coffee bean, but instead, dad waited for us at the finishing line (he ran the whole 10km and was the fastest among us =.=), he missed me and mum, we waited at coffee bean for quite some time, knowing that dad will be 1st at the finish line, me and mum thought that dad went to grab some 100plus or whatsoever (oya, digi was giving away pisang that time, haha!!!), sis was the last, *lame* school rep in volleyball konon.. and somehow, later on, mum got lost the second time =.= won't talk bout that, this post will end up a page long if i tell the whole thing.. so, at last, we met, walked back to the car, which was almost a kilometer away.. serious shit..

now, thanks to all the extreme exercises, my leg aches and i am carving for food, tired much too..

mathematics 5 test is tomorrow, wish me luck.. tired even to study too =.=

chaoz, gotta go grab my brunch..

It's 3am in the morning.. M'sian time i mean (since i have many friends outstation, i almost forget in which time zone am i in =.=) .. and yea, did i tell you that i gotta wake up at 7? blame it all on the caffeine.. but i had my coffee around 6pm @.@ almost 9hours ago.. WTH..

While i was rolling on my bed, far left to right.. ok, kidding.. what i meant was.. while i was on my bed, trying to have my eye-close moment so i can somehow get tired and sleep, something kept reminding me of the day of celebration i had loved since i was a kid.. =D

CHRISTMAS!!! jingle bells~~ jingle bells~~ aww.. how sweet.. 1 more month to go!!!!! i just like, no no, i mean LOVE everything about christmas.. the sound of bells, the snow(currently not available in M'sia), the christmas carols, the christmas tree, the warm fireplace (unavailable in M'sia too) those raindeers, the BIG FAT SANTA (HAHA!!! caught ya, where's my present?)!!!! and the list goes on and on.. see how much we miss out in M'sia during christmas..

Imagine having tea with loved ones in your warm cozy house near the fireplace with a christmas tree beside you and a bright shinny star on top of the it while snow is pouring outside and your children running around the house.. and last but not least.. the christmas carols... how peaceful can it be anymore..

It was all about the watch!!!! hey.. but the good part of it.. i managed to finish Heroes and Rich Dad.. and please don't get me started with Gossip Girls =.= no more series for now, seriously.. its the 6th week of the semester and class test will start on the 7th week.. will start to study on... TOMORROW!!! will keep my promise.. and i'll start with mathematics 5...

Lets see what are the subjects i am sitting for this sem..

3) Embedded Systems, Design and Application
4) Electrical Technology and Circuits
5) Digital System and Design

8 subjects.. anyone from other courses who wants to compete? =.= i'm so gonna die this sem.. especially for embedded systems, i know nothing bout that subject and i don't know why am i even struggling to study all these subjects..

The only thing i'm looking forward to is to finish my diploma so i can continue my degree in econs.. btw, any recommendations on where to pursue my studies (restricted to M'sia and Aus - preferably not too pocket-burning)?

Lastly, to daddy.. the "7 habits of highly effective people" you lent me wasn't much interesting.. at least to me lah.. XD so might take a longer time to finish it.. haha... and i want the book about stocks =( the "i love stocks" you intro-ed me in MPH that day and the "the Warren Buffett way"

Seriously, I do want to give you everything

I'd tried to stop thinking, but it's useless, because you're everywhere..

Tried not to talk about, but i can't, because i cant stop thinking..

Tried giving up, but it won't work, because you're the reason that made me move on and strive..

If i had the world, i'll give it to you, i promise..

But for now, you're my world and my love is all i have to give..

There are words in my mind, i want to say it out loud to the world, but i cant..

So now, i'll substitute those words with "All The Best & Take Care".. =]

this blog is specially dedicated to miss CZW..

Papa Kaya!!!!

Dad bought me this book, <Rich Dad, Poor Dad> by Robert T. Kiyosaki from Popular today, read through the 1st 2 chapters and the next thing i realized was that i can't take my eyes of it!! it is way addictive than Heroes, Gossip Girls and all those engineering books added up together -.-

This book teaches you on finance management, and it was said to teach people to be millionaires, lol... but yea, im kinda interested in how money works for me... haven't finish reading yet though, so i won't give too much comment about it, but for the meantime, i'm liking this book.. and i think i might had found the kind of field i'm interested in..

Besides the 'daddy' book, i found yet another book, on the shelf.. I'll let the picture do the explaining..

This book was in the 'Self-improvement' section.. Why in hell must we learn how to date Paris Hilton? haha!!! I'd rather date Jessica Alba than her.. i know la, this book teaches people on how to boost their self confidence or whatsoever XD but again, why PARIS HILTON???? tak suka dia la!!!

By the way, thanks daddy for the book, you should read it too..

"IF"

Read through a section in StarBizWeek - 'up close and personal' about a guy, Kenneth Fisher - a self-made billionaire investor.. he did mention about a poem, a poem i found very meaningful and inspiring.. the poem of Rudyard Kipling:

"IF"
If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;

If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with triumph and disaster

And treat those two imposters just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,

And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breath a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

It took me quite some time to learn the exact meaning this poem were to express.. and i got it, crystal clear..

The guy interviewed said "if you take most self-made people who are rich, they like doing something which made them rich." - i cant agree with that more, one will throw full attention in something they like doing, because to them, succeeding in the field they like is an achievement, and most of them care more the achievement than the reward that comes along..

There is a problem in me, i'm interested in many things, way too many things, yet i don't have anything i really like in particular.. maybe that's the reason i'm such a failure.. i have to admit, i'm not at all satisfied with the course i'm currently taking and still struggling to choose on which course to go for for my degree..

What will i be in the future? the only thing that i know which interests me is money, i shall never give up any chance of making big money (provided that it is legal), so, i'll make a rough guess that i might be a businessman some day, successful or not? God knows...

in memory:
Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)
